You would be pleased to that Matrix College is offering full time, synchronous, online classes to all our existing students using state of the art technology platform provided by Sky Tech and Zoom Technologies.  This means that our existing students have access to high quality online education and are able to pursue and complete their program on time as per their academic calendar and this will not impact on post graduate work permit for international students.

May 2020 intake

Students outside Canada:

As per CIC guidelines, students who have received their CAQs and Visa before March 18, 2020 allowed to enter into Canada but considering the lockdown situation, mandatory 14 day quarantine required after entering Canada, flight travel restrictions that may be in place in various countries and safety concerns of students and their parents, we have decided to defer the May 2020 intake.

To accommodate May 2020 intake students, we have decided to start an interim intake on July 2020 so the students of May 2020 intake have an option to defer their admission to either July 2020 intake or Sept 2020 intake. We will process the deferred admissions when we get the request from our partners or students.

Students within Canada:

Students of May 2020 intake, who are already in Canada can contact our team at ujarajapu@matrixcollege.ca to setup a virtual orientation and can start online classes as per the academic calendar.
If you need any further information please contact your zone representative or you can reach us at admission@matrixcollege.ca

“If your in-class courses are being moved to an online-only format because of COVID-19, your eligibility for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) Program won’t be affected. This includes students who have a study permit or who have been approved for a study permit for a program starting in May or June but who are unable to travel to Canada at this time due to travel restrictions. International students in this situation may begin their classes while outside Canada and may complete up to 50% of their program while outside Canada if they cannot travel to Canada sooner.”https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/coronavirus-covid19/visitors-foreign-workers-students.html)
